Camp Clothing

Hi! 

Thinking ahead to camp....What does everyone wear for camp?  We are having a half-day UCA camp at my school for 2 days. I would like to order some special shirts or something to make the girls feel special.  Any suggestions on wear to get camp clothes at a decent price?  Thanks as always!!

We get tank tops at a large chain store (one that has Supercenters--I don't think we're supposed to put store names on here) for $4 each.  We order shorts through a local athletic supply store and also get t-shirts screen printed there.  I would check local stores for anything like that.  We also buy men's and boys' tanks (undershirts) and then tie-dye them ourselves.

The team I am on have always ordered our attire from Varsity. Some may be a bit expensive but it looks great! And your girls will feell great in it!

To keep year-to-year costs lower for veterans/returners, we have camp clothes that repeat:

There's the all-squad shirt--no matter the squad, every member wears this shirt.  It's a sort of "welcome-to-the-program" shirt.

We have a squad shirt--the varsity shirt is the same each year, and the squad members are excited to progress from novice squads to finally wear the "varsity" shirt.

We have a family shirt--this shirt each squad member and family members have to wear to competitions, pep assemblies, fundraisers, and other performances.

There are those who want new stuff each year, but due to the economic climate, we've tried to create camp clothes as more of a tradition or right of passage.
