Some stunts go wrong but we caught it no injuries

Why are the messages I send to people not being saved in my out box.  I can't go back and look to make sure I pm someone back or pm them at all.  any idea why?

Before you send the message, do you click on the box that says "Save a Copy in my Outbox?"
