I have a random question.  The varsity.com website (which I love the new format and all the new additions, btw) says that the first year for the NHSCC was 1980.  However, the logo for this year's nationals is XXIX - 29.  If the first competition was in '80 and they have had one each year since, 2009's nationals should be the 30th year, correct?  (even though 2009-1980 = 29, if you count each year it is actually 30 competitions since you would count the one in 1980)

So was the first Nationals really in 1981, or is this really the 30th competition?  or was there a year that for some reason they didn't have a NHSCC?

Just curious!

Although this is the 30th NHSCC, UCA is celebrating the 29th Anniversary of the event.

No problem. I can see where there would be some head scratching.

Thank you for the message.
