When auditioning for professional cheer and dance squads a recent photo is almost always required to be sent in with your application. Does anyone (former pro or semi pro cheerleaders) have any idea if it is better to send in a professional photo or one that hasnt been taken by a professional photographer?

I cheered for the NFL last year and most girls gave regular pictures (not taken by professionals.)
