Please help!  I have an all-girl college squad of 9.  I have 1 flyer and a girl I am training to be a flyer.  I would like to do some fun pyramids with these girls.  I plan on doing a 2-1-1, but the hitch version were the flyer is in a hitch and the top flyer stands on her thigh in a heel stretch.  i would like to teach them a 2-2-1, but I'm unsure of who my 3rd flyer could be.  does anyone have any other ideas 2 1/2 high or even just fun pyramids for basketball season.

thanks for the help!

One pyramid that you can do with only two top girls is the tower, at least that is what we called it, I'm not sure if that's an official name! If you are unsure of what it is, I will try my best to explain it. There are two preps (shoulder stands) and they stand one behind the other. The back group is the bottom and middle layers and the front group is there to toss the top girl. The back flyer holds the waist of the front flyer, and the front group tosses their girl into a shoulder sit on the back flyer. The middle layer girl has her arms bent by her side and the top girl places her feet on them and then stands up. The top girls twists off into a cradle off the front. If you're absolutely lost you can PM me and I can send you the link to my squads video of it on youtube, so you can see it and better understand.

There is another variation of this where the top girl does a torch. You start the same way with two groups except this time one group faces the front & the other stands on their left side and faces the first group (so they are sideways from the front) The sideways facing group will become the top girl and she will need to be in an extension. She will also have her weight on the left leg. The middle layer girl will bend her left arm across her stomach so that the top girl can stand on it. (the top girls heel should be in the elbow pocket area) The middle girl will use her right arm once the top girl is up to wrap around her leg to stabilize it. The groups should get close together so the top girl can place her right foot onto the girls arm. The top girl leans in so that she can use the middle girls shoulders to help push her self up with. The bases of the top girl give a slight pop so that the top girl can push off and stand up. The top girl then pulls a high torch. To dismount she cradles back down to the group that put her up. I posted a picture at the bottom of this to show you in case that was confusing, the only difference is ours was coed, but other then that it's the same thing!

If you do find a third flyer then there are a lot of pyramids you could try. There's always the sweedish falls, the big a, or flatback pyramids.

What pyramids can you do with squads smaller than 9.  We had 5 this year no pyramids and scored no points.  What could I have done to gain some points with a pyramid with only 5 girls?

you could do a liberty or half liberty hitch with four or three if they partner stunt and have one person on ground hold the foot or have the two others in a shoulder sit and hold her foot you can get creative ideas wiht those also.... different positions etc.
