I have a new male cheerleader needs help getting a little stronger when it comes to stunting. What areas should he focus on body wise. Like should he do push ups, run to build muscle in his legs? I have never worked with a new male cheerleader.

Yes and yes.  Do you have access to a strength and conditioning coach?  If you do, educate the coach about what the guy will be doing (what muscles are used in stunting) and have him help him develop a program.

Yes there is a PE coach who can help him with that. The school has a brand new weight room and conditioning center.
